Many times people face problems while accessing a particular website.
It might be due to website server problem. But sometimes it might be a
fault of your Internet service provider as their DNS
server was not updated within time. That's why its recommended to use
external DNS instead of the DNS provided by your ISP. There are many DNS
available to use like Google Public DNS, Open DNS, Ultra DNS, etc.
But changing DNS settings requires some steps to follow and some
people might find it difficult, so here we are sharing a very small
utility which allows you to change DNS settings on the fly.
"DNS Jumper" is a small and portable utility which
helps you in easily switch to Google Public DNS, Open DNS or other
similar DNS services in Windows.
You can either select the predefined DNS like Google DNS, Open DNS or set your own desired DNS settings using this tool.
Simply select the desired DNS from the given list or type the desired
DNS settings in text boxes and click on "Apply DNS" button. It'll
immediately set the custom DNS settings in Windows.
It also allows you to find the fastest DNS servers available. If you
are facing Internet connection problems, you can try to clear DNS cache
using "Flush DNS" button given in the tool. It basically executes ipconfig /flushdns command in background to clear DNS cache.
Its a portable software so you don't need to install it. Simply run the EXE file.
